Wayne Escoffery & Tenor Traditions

Wayne Escoffery is a jazz saxophonist. Downbeat Critics Poll Winner and Grammy Award winning tenor saxophonist Wayne Escoffery is one of the Jazz world’s most talented rising stars and in-demand sidemen. Escoffery is also a founding member of a collaborative group called Black Art Jazz Collective which is comprised of fellow rising star musicians of his generation and is dedicated to celebrating African American Icons through originally composed music.                                                                                                                                    

Myron Walden is a jazz saxophonist and bass clarinetist. All About Jazz cites him as "one of the true bright stars of his generation" who "has a very distinctive sharp tone with a rounded nasaly-inflection" and "has shown the ability to develop solos with both an incisive logic and an organic level of invention.  

Troy Roberts is a jazz Saxophonist and composer. Hailing from the remote location of Perth, West Australia, Troy Roberts has won four consecutive Downbeat Jazz Soloist Awards, two consecutive West Australian Music Industry Awards was the only Australian finalist in the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Saxophone Competition, and has received a first Grammy Nomination Medal.
